What does our program offer
Applications are now open to university students that want to gain experience in their chosen field of study. This is a 12-week paid Vacation Program that will commence from late November 2026 through to mid-February 2027. We invite applications from students studying in any of the following areas:

Engineering - Environmental, Process/Chemical, Electrical, and Mechanical.

Science - Agriculture, Environment, Heritage and Sustainability.

Commercial – Business, Finance, Economics, Innovation, Law.

Technology - Cyber Security, Data Science, Software Engineering.

Depending on your area of study, your placement could be at one of our operational facilities in Kwinana or at Boola Moort, our new Perth City headquarters.

Some students may be offered a cadetship with WesCEF which provides part-time employment with flexibility through the final year/s of university and is a potential pathway to our graduate program.

What to expect
At WesCEF, we recognise that it may be daunting to apply for a new role – especially for the first time! Therefore, we aim to remove the guesswork by letting you know what you can expect!
Those that are shortlisted will be invited to attend an interview, meet some of our team, and possibly do a site tour. You may also be asked to complete a police clearance, reference check, and a pre-employment medical check as part of our final shortlisting process.
