About the role
Reporting to the Service Desk Lead, this role plays a critical part in delivering frontline IT support to WesCEF users across core business applications, meeting room technology’s, and end‑user hardware. As the front line of IT&S, the Service Desk represents the IT function to the business, making strong customer service, professionalism, and clear communication essential to success in this role.
The role supports users across multiple channels and manages a mix of incidents and service requests in a fast‑paced Service Desk environment. This requires the ability to communicate effectively with customers, manage competing priorities, and maintain a customer‑focused approach in problem solving and resolution.
About You
You’re a customer‑focused IT support professional who thrives on solving problems and helping people. You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in an IT related discipline are preferred including ITIL V3 or V4 certification
- History of experience in a similar Technical Support or Service Desk position or IT Support position
- Working knowledge of enterprise technologies, including remote support tools, Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365 services used in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Exchange, including user account management, access controls, and day‑to‑day administration tasks.
- Experienced in handling a ticketing system and managing varied stream of support requests.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, to effectively engage with customers in delivering ahigh‑quality Service Desk experience.
- Flexible and Adaptable in working in a complex IT environment with changing demands, adjusting priorities as required to support customers and the business.
- Ability to work from both Kwinana and Perth sites based on a roster and team requirements
