About the role
We are seeking an experienced Reward professional to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of WesCEF’s reward frameworks, programs and governance. This role provides expert leadership across compensation, incentives, benefits, job architecture and reward systems to ensure outcomes are market-aligned, equitable, compliant and clearly understood by leaders and team members
Reporting to the HR Digital & Reward Manager, you will lead annual remuneration cycles end-to-end, including salary reviews, short-term incentives and other variable pay programs. You will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll and Technology to provide practical, data-driven advice that supports decision-making and reinforces a high-performance culture.
You will also support the governance and application of WesCEF’s job architecture and job evaluation methodology (e.g. Korn Ferry / Hay), including job evaluation, grading and benchmarking activities to maintain internal equity and market alignment.
A key part of the role is leading reward-related system design and optimisation, including SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay modules, and ensuring high standards of data integrity, audit readiness and compliance across reward data, processes, policies and controls.
About You
You are an experienced reward professional with significant experience across compensation and benefits, including leading the execution of annual remuneration review cycles (salary reviews, STIP/variable pay and benchmarking). You bring strong analytical capability and are confident interpreting and communicating reward data and concepts in a clear, practical way to support leaders at all levels.
You have demonstrated experience in job evaluation, market benchmarking and reward framework design, with a strong understanding of remuneration principles, pay equity and governance. You are highly detail-focused, bring sound judgement, and are comfortable managing complex data, tight timeframes and high-impact decisions, particularly during peak reward cycles.
You have experience working with HRIS and compensation systems (SuccessFactors highly desirable) and understand the importance of foundational data quality. You can work across HR systems and data sets to extract, validate and report on information, and you partner effectively with HRIS and Technology teams to improve system capability, data structures and reporting.
You are a trusted advisor who can build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes. You operate strategically while maintaining strong operational discipline, and you bring a continuous improvement mindset to processes, tools, leader guidance and ways of working.
