About the role 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join WesCEF’s Human Resources team. 

 

Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Manager, this role is a senior, trusted advisor responsible for leading end-to-end talent acquisition, recruitment strategy and onboarding delivery across a complex, multi-business portfolio. You will partner closely with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes, build strong talent pipelines, and continuously improve recruitment capability, systems and candidate experience. 

 

This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to someone who enjoys influencing at senior levels whilst driving recruitment excellence, and shaping future-focused talent solutions. 

 

Key responsibilities will include:  

 

  • Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions across a diverse portfolio. 

  • Lead recruitment for specialist and business-critical roles, providing expert advice on sourcing, selection and assessment. 

  • Drive workforce planning and proactively build talent pipelines for future capability needs. 

  • Coach and support hiring leaders through interviews, assessments and offer processes. 

  • Ensure offers align with remuneration frameworks, governance and internal equity. 

  • Oversee and continuously improve onboarding processes and candidate experience. 

  • Manage recruitment campaigns, assessment centres and early-career programs as required. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agency partners. 

  • Champion inclusive hiring practices in line with WesCEF’s DEIB strategy. 

  • Leverage recruitment systems and data to deliver insights, reporting and process improvements. 

  • Identify opportunities to digitise, automate and enhance TA and onboarding processes. 

  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with policy, governance and safety requirements. 

 

About You 

 

You are a highly experienced Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders. 

 

You will bring: 

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, with strong exposure to senior, specialist or business-critical roles. 

  • Demonstrated experience operating as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR Business Partners. 

  • Strong knowledge of remuneration frameworks, governance and recruitment compliance. 

  • Experience delivering recruitment transformation, system improvements or process optimisation. 

  • High-level stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills. 

  • A continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail. 

  • Confidence working with recruitment data, metrics and reporting. 

  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
