About the role
Reporting to the HR Services Supervisor, the Human Resources Officer role will be an important member of team, providing frontline HR service delivery including lifecycle events, recruitment activities and supporting projects as required. This role focuses on delivering a high-quality customer experience through the HR Services Centre by triaging and responding to enquiries, meeting service levels and promoting effective self service. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate transactional processes of events through Success Factors and delivering accurate outputs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver responsive, customer focused HR support by triaging enquiries and guiding employees and leaders where required
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers throughout the lifecyle of the request
- Ensure the accurate processing of employee lifecycle transactions including onboarding, movements, changes to terms and conditions, and terminations.
- Maintenance and creation of work instructions to support HRO processes
- Collaboration with key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and IT to support seamless HR operations.
- Contribution to the development and delivery of HR reporting, process improvement initiatives, and system enhancements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Officer / Advisor role, providing generalist HR support across the employee lifecycle within a service delivery or shared services environment
- Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply guidance appropriately and escalate matters as required
- Experience managing an end to end cases through a ticketing system, including prioritisation, investigation/triage, accurate record keeping, stakeholder updates and meeting SLA's
- Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise effectively with leaders and employees, supporting BAU people queries
- High attention to detail and sound judgement, aligning to confidentiality principles and ways of working
