About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner – Operations to join our Human Resources team. Reporting to the HR Business Partnering Lead – Operations, this role will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across our local sites and frontline workforce.
As a hands-on, trusted advisor to operational leaders, you will provide expert guidance on workforce capability, culture, performance and organisational effectiveness.
With a strong focus on supporting operational environments, you will influence outcomes across leadership, organisational design, workforce planning, employee experience and change management.
In this role key, responsibilities will include:

Senior level HR partnering to operational leaders, ensuring alignment with business priorities, organisational strategy and legislative requirements.

Provide expert advice and leadership on employee relations and industrial relations matters, including investigations, performance management, grievances, and fitness-for-work issues.

Influence and support strategic workforce planning, organisational design and change activities.

Drive engagement, capability development, succession planning and talent initiatives within the operational workforce.

Analyse workforce trends, risks and opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to shape strategic decision-making.

Coach leaders to build people capability, enhance leadership behaviours and embed a high-performing, safety-focused culture.
About You
We are looking for a people focused HR professional who thrives in fast paced, operational environments. To be successful, you will bring:

Significant experience in a Senior HR Business Partner, HRBP or similar strategic people advisory role.

Demonstrated experience in employee relations and industrial relations, ideally within operational environments.

Strong knowledge of enterprise agreements, ER/IR frameworks and case management.

Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.

Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance frameworks and organisational dynamics.

Demonstrated ability to lead people-related change, workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.

Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
