About the role 

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Process Operator to join our team at our Kwinana based Kleenheat Production Facility. Our Kleenheat Production Facility operates and produces liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG), and associated products for both domestic and export markets.

As the newest member of the Kleenheat team, you will work towards holding responsibility for field and control room operations for both LPG and LNG plants in a safe and effective manner.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working autonomously to ensure safe and reliable plant operation
  • Prioritising your safety, and the safety of others in all practices
  • Carrying out all work according to environmental policies and procedures
  • Plant start-ups & shutdowns, and achieving plant utilisation and production targets
  • Problem solving of plant issues and contributing to process improvements
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of shift reports, equipment isolations and work orders

 

About You 

  • Experience in oil & gas operations is preferred
  • Strong demonstrated focus on safety
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Excellent analytical skills and the capability to work autonomously without supervision
  • Ability to carry out duties in accordance with documented procedures
  • Experience in permit to work and other relevant safe work systems
  • DCS/control room exposure (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Certificate III/IV in Process Plant Operations or working towards (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Supervisory experience (highly regarded but not essential)
