About the role 

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales leader to join Kleenheat and lead the growth and performance of our non-residential Natural Gas portfolio. This is a unique leadership role that combines operational excellence with strategic commercial engagement. 

 

Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, this role is responsible for driving sales efficiency and execution across a call centre-based sales team, while also managing key industrial and commercial relationships that require negotiation of supply agreements. You will embed a culture of performance, coach teams, and ensure strategies translate into measurable outcomes. 

 

Key responsibilities in this role include:  

 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team focused on growing Kleenheat’s non-residential customer base and market share 

  • Operationalise sales strategies and campaigns to achieve growth and retention targets 

  • Drive efficiency through process improvement, technology adoption and best practice methodologies 

  • Manage and develop key customer relationships, ensuring long-term value and retention 

  • Negotiate Natural Gas supply agreements and commercial contracts in line with business objectives 

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and market conditions to inform commercial decisions 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across pricing, trading, operations and customer service 

  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and risk requirements 

 

About you 

 

You are an experienced sales leader who thrives on building engaged teams and delivering results.  You combine operational discipline with strong relationship management and negotiation skills. 

 

You will ideally bring: 

 

  • Proven experience in leading B2B sales teams (call centre sales experience highly regarded) 

  • Strong ability to translate strategy into operational plans and measurable outcomes 

  • Expertise in sales performance management, coaching and process optimisation 

  • Experience in  commercial negotiation and contract management (energy or utilities experience highly regarded) 

  • Sound commercial acumen and data-driven decision making skills 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • A proactive, results-driven mindset
