About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sample Preparer/Receivals Assistant to join our team on a full time, permanent basis to support our high throughput CSBP Soil and Plant Analysis Agricultural Laboratory based in Bibra Lake.
To succeed in this role you will carry out routine tasks accurately and efficiently, with confidence in your adherence to strict methodologies for the receival, processing and preparation of samples. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are vital for this role. You will be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment, and take pride in delivering quality and consistency in your work as part of an accountable, high performing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and sorting soil and plant samples from farm, agribusiness, and research customers.
- Sieving and grinding soil and plant samples for analysis by our technicians.
- Data entry of samples received.
- Washing of lab equipment and general cleaning of the sample receivals and sample preparation areas.
- Adherence to strict biosecurity & quarantine protocols.
- Be proactive in maintaining a safe working environment and taking pride in delivering quality and consistency in your work.
