About the Role:

We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager - Outbound Sales to join our team in Albany and drive growth across our small business customer portfolio. Tou'll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of fertiliser customers while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of fertiliser customers.
  • Generating and qualifying new business leads through outbound sales activities, including cold calling.
  • Achieving sales volume, margin and market share targets.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer, agent and industry relationships.
  • Promoting CSBP products, services and digital platforms, including NUlogic.
  • Supporting customers through the preparation and delivery of technical reports and recommendations.
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts, customer records and pipeline activity.
  • Collaborating with agronomists, customer service teams and other internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Conducting occasional on-farm visits and field-based activities as required

 

About you

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Experience in sales, account management or customer relationship management.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Sound commercial awareness and the ability to work towards sales and profitability targets.
  • Confidence using digital systems and CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of agricultural systems and qualifications or experience in agriculture (desired)
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required
