The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Process Group Leader to provide frontline leadership and supervision across our fertiliser production operations. You will play a critical role in leading shift teams, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance, and supporting continuous improvement across the operation. You will balance operational priorities, coaching and development, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting business objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate, supervise and execute daily operational activities to meet production demands
- Facilitating the scheduled completion of training and development of team members
- Support annual planning, KPIs, budgeting and cost control
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage shift rosters, leave and hours in conjunction with the team
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety standards and proactively managing risks
About you
- Extensive operating experience with a broad knowledge of the production disciplines (operations, maintenance, engineering, support and management)
- Experience in production plant operations and can lead by example
- Proven people leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability
- A demonstrated commitment to safety leadership
